Century Club Gala 2026 Highlight Reel
Once again, we gather to celebrate our annual Century Club Gala on May 1, 2026 honoring Mrs. JoAnn D'Anton and Dr. Joseph Tauro, and I am truly honored to be part of this remarkable tradition. For more than 60 years, the Century Club has raised vital funds to support scholarships for students of St. Joseph Grade School as they continue their education at Donovan Catholic High School. I am deeply grateful to all who have supported this mission over the years, and I look forward to its continued success.
Today, 23 students from St. Joseph Grade School are attending Donovan Catholic with the help of Century Club awards, earned through both academic achievement and financial need. Since its founding, the Century Club has raised over $1.5 million, benefiting more than 310 students. The motto, “Once a Griffin, Always a Griffin!” continues to inspire these young men and women as they move forward, grounded in a strong education and a deep faith. Your ongoing presence and generosity ensure that the Century Club remains a vibrant and meaningful support of Catholic education.
Finally, I thank each of you for joining us this evening. Please know that you are always in my prayers, and I remain deeply thankful for your continued presence and generous support.

The Century Club Gala 2024 was a tremendous success. The night honored Dominick Farro and Harold Frazee with over 200 guests in attendance. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Century Club Scholarship Fund.
The Century Club Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for our 8th grade students at St. Joseph Grade School to continue their catholic education at Donovan Catholic High School.

2026 Summer Religious Education Academy
St Joseph’s Church provides a Summer Religious Education Academy (formerly known as CCD) for the children of our parish families who attend public school and are in grades 1-8.
Rich in scripture, liturgy, doctrine, and tradition, this intensive summer faith formation program provides children with a fun and completely immersive environment to grow in their love for God and knowledge of our Catholic faith. Our Academy Card activities throughout the academic year provide additional opportunities for students to physically live out their faith throughout the year, alongside weekly Sunday mass attendance. By this design, it is our hope that all of our parishioners in the Religious Education Academy will grow deeper in the love of God and the practice of our Catholic Faith.

2026 Summer Religious Academy
Students attend ONE of the two weeks scheduled*:
June 22 - 26, 2026 OR July 6 - 10, 2026
8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
REGISTRATION FOR OUR 2026 ACADEMY CLOSED ON MARCH 31, 2026.
All registrants will receive a large envelope in the mail with information for the summer by May 15, 2026. If you did not receive an envelope by this date, please call our office 732-349-0018, ext. 2225.
Current kindergarten parents: If you want your child to receive First Holy Communion in second grade, they MUST be registered for Summer Academy 2026. Current 6th grade parents: If you want your child to receive Confirmation in eighth grade, they MUST be registered for Summer Academy 2026. January 22 - 31, 2026: Early Registration for those who have earned 4 stamps on their Academy Card
- What is an Academy Card?
- 4 stamp academy card = Early Registration + Academy week of your choice + $50/student discount
- Cost: $180/student ($450/family of 3 or more students) + Sacrament fee (if applicable, collected in the Fall)
February 1 - March 31, 2026: Standard Registration for all returning students + new students
- Cost: $230/student ($600/family of 3 or more students) + Sacrament fee (if applicable, collected in the Fall)
- A completed Academy Card is not required for registration.

- Financial assistance is available.
- Office hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- In order to finalize registration, all new students are required to provide original baptismal certificates + a new student form. See the new student form provided in the registration process for more information.
- All students who are scheduled to receive the Sacraments of First Holy Communion or Confirmation in 2027 have an additional 2-hour monthly sacrament preparation class (Sundays) beginning in the Fall 2026 until Spring 2027, leading up to the sacrament. More information will be provided in the informational packet mailed home after Academy registration is complete.
- *New students in grades 4-9 who have not received First Holy Communion will not attend the Summer Academy but begin with a preparation class in Fall. More information is provided in the registration process.
