The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic ministry. The vocation of the Society's members, called Vincentians, is to follow Christ through service to those in need and so bear witness to His compassionate and liberating love. Members show their commitment through person-to-person contact. Vincentians serve in hope to promote human dignity and personal integrity in all their dimensions.
St. Joseph’s Parish has an active SVdP ministry, which always welcomes new members. Members receive ongoing training and donate between four to seven hours per month. They answer the SVdP voicemail from their own homes or meet with families within the Parish boundaries, always with a partner.
Parishioners who are interested in learning more about this important ministry may contact SVdP President by phone.
Individuals who need assistance may call 732-349-0018, ext. 2260 and leave a message, with your name, number, address, need and best time to reach you. Please be sure you unblock your phone. A call member will return your call.
"You are intended to represent the goodness of God in the eyes of the poor."
